Mary Vermeer Andringa is Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board at Vermeer Corporation, a global industrial and agricultural equipment company in Iowa. Prior to assuming her current role in November 2014, she was President and CEO for five years. Her earlier roles at Vermeer have included Co-CEO and chief operating officer, focusing on her passion for continuous improvement and innovation. Ms. Andringa leads an international business, with its first overseas location established decades ago in Goes, the Netherlands. She recently concluded her two-year term as chair of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the nation’s largest manufacturing association, leading efforts to promote a stronger manufacturing industry. Ms. Andringa is one of 18 private sector members of President Obama’s Export Council, where she represents manufacturing on important trade matters.
